Stenton Park Cleanup

This is a great opportunity for youth groups and individuals to serve their community by join us in clean-up work at Stenton Park in Philadelphia.  Come to our facility at 1539 West Courtland Street and the Park is directly across the street.  Lunch served for all. 



Every Tuesday and Thursday


XCel youth program at 1539 W. Courtland St.

XCel uses sports principles to show teens and youth how to apply lessons of leadership, accountability, team work, and more. Teens are learning table tennis from a tournament-winning instructor.



Summer of 2013  This Summer Front Step hosted 6 teams from all over the United States who will be involved in various projects throughout Philadelphia. Projects included construction work at our Courtland Community Center, Park cleanup, a basketball and summer camp, cleaning vacant lots, preparing meals for the homeless, building community gardens and working hand in hand with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation. These teams will volunteer a total of more than 4880 hours to The City of Philadelphia.

 Front Step Inc Second Annual Banquet and Fundraiser at 3044 W Germantown Pike in Eagleville, PA.

Front Step, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is ready to expand services to bring hope and possibility to the underserved populations of Philadelphia. Construction, renovation, education, relief services, training, and all of the other programs of Front Step require financial resources, and your support is critical. Our February 2013 fundraising banquet will give you an opportunity to partner with us in reaching our goal to provide these services to our community.

Eastern Nazarene University has a team stopping by to examine the building, talk about programs, and examine a partnership with Front Step.

Father - Son covenant at 1539 W. Courtland St.

Father and son program providing fathers with the tools to become, or remain, a vital link in the family. Fathers build and develop a set of skills and patterns that their sons will carry with them into adolescence and adulthood. Sons will experience fun-filled, constructive sessions with their father or adult male role model. Sessions will be lead by Nicetown resident Donnie Andrews and Executive Director Wil Snell, once a month for 18 months.
